Description

The Absen ARn470 recieving cards (variations: ARn470-1 and ARn470-2), is sourced and supplied by Azar Pixel. It is a specialized LED receiving card (customized order by great Absen company, manufactured by NovaStar) has been optimized for high-fidelity display control to reduce electromagnetic interference (it is known as the EMC improved version of MRV270 and equivalent model of MRV470).

This EMC-enhanced series, adheres to EU CE-EMC Class B standards, minimizing electromagnetic emissions for use in noise-sensitive environments. This model delivers a resolution of 256×226 pixels and outputs 24 groups of data, ensuring sharp, vibrant visuals for LED displays.

Note: The ARn470 (like MRV470) series offers four variants designed to accommodate various installation requirements. The ARn470-1 (similar to MRV470-1) model has male connectors positioned on the top of the board. In contrast, the ARn470-2 (equivalent of MRV470-2) differs in connectors placement (as they are located on the bottom).

Equipped with pixel-level brightness and chromaticity calibration, the ARn470 ensures uniform color accuracy across displays. Its MOM (Module Onboard Memory) interface provides the option of storing calibration data and LED module parameters, simplifying setup and maintenance. The card actively monitors Ethernet communication status, power supply voltage (3.3–5.5V), and operating temperatures (-20°C to +70°C), enhancing system reliability.

Engineered for durability and fully compliant with RoHS standards, it is ideally suited for commercial, industrial, and residential LED display setups that demand precise control and low electromagnetic interference.

Been running this for 7 months now and honestly it’s way better than the old MRV470. EMC noise is pretty much gone and the calibration’s super clean too
