CVT4K-S Fiber Converter (Single-mode)

The Single-Mode NovaStar CVT4K Fiber Converter (also labeled as CVT4K-S) is built for industrial and professional fiber data transmission, especially in A/V equipment where reliability is prominent.

Thanks to its dual redundant power supply feature, it equipped with a Neutrik PowerCON connector and a standard 3-pin AC socket, not only to meet diverse customer requirements but also to ensure uninterrupted operation and keeps running smoothly even if one of the power sources fails (for instance one connected to the main power line and the other sourced by a UPS)

It contains four 10Gbps Single-mode twin-core optical ports to support high-speed data transmission over long distances of up to 10 kilometers using OS1/OS2 9/125µm fiber with 1310nm wavelength. The OPT3 and OPT4 ports copies and backups of the OPT1 and OPT2 ports providing high-quality noise-free video content delivery without signal loss (OPT1 oversees ethernet ports 1-8 and OPT2 delivers/receives data to/from Ethernet ports 9-16).
