Taurus TB10 Plus Multimedia Player

We are honored at Azar Pixel to offer NovaStar TB10 Plus: a new-generation Taurus series multimedia player that integrates playback features and sending functions together for full-color LED displays. NovaStar in May 2025 released this brand-new product as an updated substitution to replace the highly demanded NovaStar TB1-4G (optional), functioning as a valid, smart, and international alternative for TB10 media player.

Like the primary versions, it supports a maximum loading capacity of 650,000 pixels. While both devices share the same pixel capacity, the TB10 Plus supports screen dimensions with maximum width or height of 2048 pixels, greatly expanding layout possibilities beyond the TB1-4G limit of maximum width: 1920 or maximum height: 1080 pixels.

While the TB1-4G has proven to be a stable and capable solution, the TB10 Plus introduces significant upgrades in processing power, content handling, memory, and synchronization capabilities.

At the core of its performance improvements, the TB10 Plus is built with a Quad-core ARM A53 processor running at 1.4 GHz (compared to the TB1-4G Quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz). It also doubles the RAM memory capacity to 2 GB and keeps the storage capacity of 32 GB (in addition to its USB playback support and storage capacity expansion up to 128 GB), enabling smoother operation.

A major advancement is its ability to perform hardware decoding of 4K video content, whereas the previous versions were able to support hardware decoding only up to 1080p. It supports video coding (H.265/H.264/VP9) for content up to 4096×2304 pixels and can play back 1x4K video, 3x1080p videos, or up to 8x720p videos simultaneously.

This enhanced processing is supported by a newer up-to-date Android 10.0 operating system, replacing the Android 5.1 platform of its older models, offering greater stability, compatibility, and overall system efficiency.

Connectivity and system flexibility have also been improved. This upgraded version allows Wi-Fi AP and Wi-Fi STA modes to operate simultaneously, whereas the former models only allow switching between them.

In addition, the TB10Plus introduces advanced synchronization options, including multi-screen synchronous playback through NTP, GPS (when using a compatible and optional 4G module), or RF time synchronization (with an RF module).

Despite all these enhancements, this cost-effective solution operates with lower power consumption, with a maximum of 15 W compared to the former 18 W consumption.

Overall, while both models deliver reliable performance for LED display playback and control, the TB10 Plus offers a more powerful, efficient, and feature-rich platform designed to meet the growing demands of modern high-resolution LED display systems.
